Marketing as a service pricing

How much does marketing as a service cost?

Published prices run from $99 a month for software with one strategy session to $12,800 a month for 160 hours of agency time. Most managed providers do not publish a price. Levered is $450, $900 or $1,800 a week.

Providers charge for different units: hours, processes, software seats, or a number of services run at once. Compare the unit before you compare the number.

Models

Five ways to pay for marketing work

Each model buys something different. A weekly or monthly subscription buys ongoing work at a known price. A retainer buys agency time on terms set in a proposal. A fractional CMO buys part-time leadership. A full-time hire buys one person’s whole week.

Levered bills weekly or monthly. Of the providers Levered reviewed on October 31, 2026, it was the only one billing by the week.

Weekly subscription

Levered: $450, $900 or $1,800 a week for 1, 2 or 3 active services. Billing runs week to week; cancellation applies to the next cycle.

Monthly subscription

A fixed monthly price for a stated unit. NinjaPromo sells hours ($4,000 for 40), Growigami sells processes (from $1,999 each), Levered prepaid is $1,600, $3,200 or $6,400.

Retainer

A monthly fee set in a proposal. Scope, team and contract length vary by agency. Most managed providers in this review quote after a call.

Fractional CMO

A part-time senior leader who sets direction and oversees the work. Execution is done by your team or vendors unless the engagement includes it.

A full-time hire is the fifth option. The US median wage for marketing managers was $166,790 in May 2025, before benefits, payroll taxes, recruiting and tools. Full-time hire or Levered

Fit

Which pricing model fits

A weekly subscription fits if

  • You want work started this week and a price you can stop paying next week.
  • You already spend on ads and nobody owns the accounts day to day.
  • You need several services (ads, pages, tracking) and cannot hire for each.

Another model fits if

  • One channel is a full-time job for years: hire that person.
  • You have a team and need a leader to direct it: look at a fractional CMO.
  • You only need one deliverable type, such as design: a single-service subscription may cost less.

How it works

How it works

  1. 01

    Connect the accounts.

Ads, analytics, site, CRM, whatever is live. The work happens in your systems.

  2. 02

    Week one is real work.

Eligible execution trials last seven days and cover one or two low-risk items. A card, existing ad spend and available capacity are required.

  3. 03

    Pick a plan.

Every plan includes calls and access to the service catalog. Plans change the number of active services and outside vendors we oversee.

  4. 04

    One project is one service.

Setup, ongoing work, measurement and iteration. Inside it, ask for anything. A new service is a new project. Swaps are free.
